Kaien brings expressive colour and richly varied surface detail to an elongated 60 × 227 mm tile. Mottled finishes combine lighter areas with deeper darker tones, creating a layered, almost painterly appearance. The rectangular proportions give structure to this lively character, allowing the surface variation to become the focus of the design. Kaien offers a bold interpretation of the brick format.
